Another piece of ancient Rome's history has re-emerged from the Terracina subsoil. While an excavation was being carried out by Eni near the Agip petrol station in Via Roma, one of the areas devastated by last October's storm, the statue of a Roman warrior, which the Superintendence believes dates back to the second century after Christ, was brought to light and recovered.

The mayor of Terracina, Nicola Procaccini, commented "You get used to beauty and the wonderful discoveries continue to amaze and excite. We are living a golden moment, also and above all from the cultural point of view, that we want to continue, consolidate and enhance".
