For the first time, excavations have uncovered the oldest buildings at the site: a metal workshop, pottery, coins and a Bronze Age burial site (3000 to 1000 BC).

During the last five campaigns, the foundations of three buildings have been excavated. Beneath them: seven successive habitation layers, dating back to the 1st century BC.

The residential district in question was located at the extreme west of the Roman town of Lousonna, where a few thousand inhabitants lived.
