Over 300 pieces from around twenty music institutions will be on display, some of which are so fragile that this will be the first time they are taken out of their museum of origin. In addition to the fascinating collection of musical instruments found at archaeological excavations, there will also be numerous works of art and ritual elements with musical motifs. Thanks to audio devices, it will even be possible to hear how the most common instruments of antiquity sounded as well as a reproduction of the oldest song known to date.
The exhibition will run until 16 September, 2017.
